Closest I'll be to you is Palmer/Wasilla and that probably wont be until October. Are you going to be staying in Seward the whole time?

Yes I just got a second job so I'll be staying in seward this summer to pad the ol' wallet. It was easy going through canada - but i already had a passport. I hear the border is easy to cross but I haven't tried jumpin it yet. There are ferry rides from seattle to pretty much anywhere in alaska for a few hundred bucks. It's quick, you get to see the coast, and no bears can get into your food haha. However many people from the lower 48 head to alaska for seasonal work and you might be able to catch a ride all the way there in one go.

I greatly enjoyed the road through Canada. It is a good raod because it is a long road and there are many pine trees along the road and much game can be found in the trees. The air always seems to have a faint whisp of a campfire. Canadians have a good sense of humor, too. I now work as a front desk clerk for the van gilder hotel and I work nights at captain jacks seafood processing. I really dig this town.

From what I understand, july 4th in this town is bonkers. They have a mountain marathon where competitors run up a mountain. It's no coincidence that the route goes past the local emergency room.
