Very funny ending, great writing. You must have been near Texas Highway 70 east of Amarillo? I think I have been to that rest stop. The caprock canyons and hills are very pretty there. Oh and I don't care what you say; potted meat is good!

Whatever it takes to get to your goal. More than once have I turned around because of circumstances, and it always seems to work itself out. The road definitely does provide. Have patience and keep the faith. Good story.
