[quote:d0edf6e3e7="jennychavez"]The specific rules and regulations are confusing and always changing, but when you make the right choice, you get the right price. For Europe, plan on spending $700–1,500 for your basic round-trip ticket, plus another $300–500 in taxes, fuel surcharges, and other fees!!!![/quote:d0edf6e3e7]
hell no.. i have never paid that much
look around and you find tikets 500 to 600 dollars return if you want..

[quote="lonelywander"]Anyone know if 'stand-by' flights still exist at all..?

And you do need a RT ticket (i.e. proof of on-ward travel) to be let into Europe, yeah? What about those delicious, serendipitous occurrences that may happen in which you don't know WHERE you'll be departing from? Hmmmm?

...Just some thoughts/questions.[/quote
dont think those stand by tickets are still doable.. i asked a few airline compagnies about this and they all said no.

and you dont need a return light to head to europe.. they are less strict than north american customs. (the uk might be different tho.
