It results rather strange that he was able to cross a border with a scanned copy. In Europe; when there was borders, a photocopy was not permitted, the same as when a foreign police ask for your documents. They want the original ... if not you can be in serious trouble.

A thought about this 'possible future' though ... wouldn't this make falsifications much much easier?¿

No; we'll just be required to have a chip implanted on our bodies. That way the government and "big brother" will always know where we are.

It's already being done .. has been for years. In real 'chique' night clubs in Barcelona you can get a chip implanted so you don't have to pay cash ... :/
