figured I'd take this time to not only introduce myself as I am a new member to this site, but take a little time to reveal to the reader who or what I am.
I be a child born of a lost generation, raised to believe in fairy tales only to awake to this nightmare called reality where as all I see be catatonic zombies. At an early age, I was blessed with this sight, thou at times I see it as a curse for it prevents me to live a normal life. In my teenage years I spent a summer homeless as the alternative was to reside in a group home for 2 years. But during that summer I was able to taste a life that I only read about. For that experience alone felt like a fantasy, a life that doesn't seem possible for we, as a whole, have destroyed the possibilities of what could be if we didn't live trampling each other in attempt to reach the heavens by building an empire of dirt and debris. So to say, I felt joy when I stumbled upon this site as in truth I found really no use for this [PROFANITY REMOVED BY MOD TEAM] internet till now.
But it wasn't till I lived on the road for a month during a trip to Florida, days before the giant oil spill occurred when I realized that being out there, with no general direction or knowledge of where I was headed was the best moments of my life, next to discovering LSD and Jimi Hendrix.
But due to unforeseen events which involved a friend overdosing, a trip to the hospital and watching my friend flat line on me for 3 seconds. The adventure was cut short and I had to return home where I reside now. Still the wanderlust remains and I be itching to once again take on the mantle and grasp what I believe is the only way to live. Out there, throwing yourself into the unknown. As the great doctor once said. "Buy the ticket and enjoy the ride"
So I'm here now on this site, mentally preparing myself for the last hurrah. A journey from Virginia to Cali, possibly through the use of hitching. And publish a book based on my life experiences in hopes to awaken generations after I be dust.
Perhaps in a few days, I will share some of those experiences, specially the awesome adventure to Florida. Till then I have a bottle of wine whom beckons me, and a little redhead named Mary Jane. Till then my fellow road warriors, born from celestial mothers. Never stop dreaming and never ever grow up.
