So... if anyone was interested in it, I can share my ski-hitchhiking experience I've gained this weekend.
Hitchhiking with skis isn't very fast (I waited almost twice longer than usually, but nothing overwhelming) (skis just aren't a guitar...) but it IS possible. Even at night, in the dark.
I've hitchhiked on my own and I don't recommend to have a partner at all, because then you could wait for hours. A lot of drivers can't imagine how to arrange one pair of skis in the car (and two? in no case!) (of course they can't if they never did it) and such people probably won't stop.
Good luck in hitching rides with your skis!
Btw. The mountains have been really beautiful, the weather ideal, nothing missing
