Guelph/Toronto-Niagara Falls-Iowa?

Postby gasolin3rainb0w » July 27th, 2009, 12:01 am

Hi, first timer on Digihitch, but I'm looking for a companion for at least part of the way on my ambitious trip to Iowa. If anybody wants to make a go out of it and accompany me the whole way... that would be fun =). I've got a dog with me (who has often helped me pick up rides in the past. He's cute and full of character), a three person tent, and some good stories to tell. Even having somebody with me for the first stretch to the border would be nice, and a confidence boost/good start to what will be a loooong trip.

This would (obviously) require somebody with a passport, should they be coming across the border with me as well.

I'm looking to play around in the States a bit on my way to Des Moines. I'm aware this may take quite some time, but I'm not a jackass who has no grip on geography, or innovation as to obtaining food, shelter, etc. Leaving in two weeks, or at convenience.

Cheers.

Have you gone already? I'm somewhat interested, depending on the time frame. (I too have friends I'd like to see in Iowa and also in Chicago).

Unfortunately, I'm a huge puss when it comes to winter, and have postponed this trip indefinitely.
