So that's the same as squatting? In the UK I beleive it is 14 years, but all you need to do is live there and have evidence. In addition to that it can take a long time to be evicted.

Did I read that wrong or is it 2 years in Arizona? A person could make a decent living out of that, just living in disused places in Arizona for 2 years (there's surely not a shortage) and then selling them on.

Yeah I think that listing was actually a resource for real estate vultures...I'm sure they do it all the time. Sad that its done for money..

From my understanding, you'll never get a court to rule in your favor in an adverse possession case if your only intent is to get some land that does not belong to you. In the modern day, these clauses are mostly ignored or used for property border disputes.

Hence the link being on a real estate site...I think the knowledge alone is a good resource in the current housing-economic "crisis" and possibly confusion might 'rule in your favor' ....theres a world of possibilities in the abandoned housing market...lol. Thanks for the jewel though
