Not meaning to be insensitive or funny......but asking for a ride on a hitching site is rather amusing. Stick out your thumb and see what happens.

doesn't sound insensitive or funny to me,but isn't a hitchhiking site about hitchhiking?pack your bags and go,the road awaits!

STILL not a rideboard!

Postby hikecrazy » January 13th, 2005, 8:38 pm

Maybe we need to make it bigger but there is a notice at the top of this forum
which states: [size=18:5cc598dd0f]This forum is NOT a rideboard![/size:5cc598dd0f] 8O

Our rideboard is at the top of the page underneath the digihitch banner, but even if you do use it, it's pretty unlikely that you will find somebody who can help you out in such a short timespan.

Other places to look are university noticeboards where you can often find rides sought or offered and other websites such as craiglist.org which has regional subsites.

As the others say, you might want to actually hitchhike if you're really in a hurry.

Good luck.
