Thanks flatcar, I should try and find a multi-channel hand held unit before taking off. It may prove useful..

[quote:d83aa9f0d6="DryGrain"][quote:d83aa9f0d6="gnarleycharley"]before you hop in the shower, scratch your feet raw, then piss on them.sounds stupid,i know, but not even lotramine or tinactin works as good as your own urine.i had bad athletes foot, followed advice, two days later,bu-bye.p.s-urine must come straight from body onto feet-i think air contaminates it after a bit.[/quote:d83aa9f0d6]

yeah its good practice to piss on your feet; fresh urine is as sterile as a bandaid, and i think it's the uric acid that kills the fungus.[/quote:d83aa9f0d6]

In the U.S. if you're in a moderately sized city and looking for a free meal...
Find a large public library and hang around the front between 4 p.m. and 5p.m. follow exiting homeless to nearby soup kitchen.

Or stay at the library and be able to get an hour or more on a computer. Peace

Ive been hitching about ten years now and recently brought along one of those old school Stanley lunch boxes with a thermos on top. It was alittle cumbersome but it gets you rides, plus lunch didnt freeze!

Snow was glaring so bad i was squinting the other day plus the sun was starting to get in my eyes. Had to wear a touque instead of a hat so the solution, wander down to the next telephone pole and angle it so it blocked the sun. Every little while id have to move slightly as the earth turned.

In Latin America...

If you want to get free bread in Latin America, hang around the bakeries just before they close. Do you know how much perfectly good bread you can get doing that???

lots of free food from bakeries in the US too, just wait till its about closing time and then ask if you can have some of the day old stuff, if they say no you can raid the dumpsters out back

trader joes in california and oregon also throw away tons of perfectly good food every day, as does KFC, its all bagged up and in little styrofoam containers, just make sure you get there right after they close and dont eat any of the meat
