I have been to every single city in the top 20 except for the one in Hawaii and that is damn close to the list I would make! =] They shoulda just asked me for consultation advice cause I have sweated in each one! =]

howocme the 10 coldest cities would not make the list . I think they were talking high humidity vs low humidity . But if you wanted the lowest probability of sweating you need the 10 cities with the lowest average dew points . Some of these cities are International falls MN , (aka frostbite falls) :Bismark ND , Caribou ME , Marquette MI , nome AK and 5 more probably in AK , MN .

I live in Las Vegas NV, and I've lived in St. Louis MO.

In summer, sweat continuously drips out of you in St. Louis, until you're totally dehydrated. In vegas however, you hardly sweat at all. Yet, I don't see St. Louis anywhere on the list. What's the point of this misleading list?

I think the title should have been "top 10 Hottest U.S. Cities". Just because a city is hot doesn't mean that you sweat.

It all has to do with relative humidity. You sweat more in places with high humidity. The humidity in Missouri gets as high as 90%, while it's usually only around 10% in Nevada.

Is Las Vegas sweaty? Definitely not!
Is Las Vegas hot? Extremely.

I grew up in Crown Point Indiana just outside of Chicago and I gotta say that I sweated a hell of a lot more there than I do here in Phoenix. I have worked as a lifeguard here three summers in a row and it seems like I am always dry. Then again I am close to naked standing in the sun in an arid desert so that might have some effect...

When I read the article about the sweaty cities, I was thinking about Austin. Don't get me wrong, Austin is a very beautiful city. Its just that it is very hot there in the summer. Sometimes I want to go back, but even though Tennessee has its bad sides, it is very much cooler in the shadow of the Smoky Mountains.

I've been to more than have of them, and I live(d) in the no. 1!
No suprise Phoenix is number 1, I love watching people squirm in Phoenix when it's 120+, hahaha. Who else has heat like that?
