Hitching from Toronto to Newfoundland (through Maritimes)

Heyhey,

I'd potentially love to join you! I am a 24-year-old female, semi-experienced in hitching (but in the UK only). I was planning to go to PEI from Toronto but wouldn't mind going further as well. My travel companion just pulled out and I am eager to hit the road as well but nervous of hitching in a new country by myself. Only thing is I have to be back in Toronto for my flight home on the 28th of August. Because of this shorter time scale I'd be eager to go as soon as possible and maybe not do so much woofing (although its certainly something i'd love to do at some point).

I am a couchsurfer (you can see my prolfile if you like - same name - for references etc if you like) and have actually arranged a few places to stay along the way as well (before my partner pulled out) so this could be useful?
