November 1st...east coast to San Francisco (benifits!)

Postby Pith » September 26th, 2005, 6:11 pm

I am planing on leaving for San Francisco from the Boston, MA area on November 1st. I am a writer and am trained in the martial arts. Im twenty six years old and have everything that I will need for the trip. I have enough money to eat and get a hotel room in the midwest for a shower and a bed. I plan to hitch with some botanical and other resorces for fun and cash. I also have Canadian citzin ship so crossing the border with me is never a problem. I also have police contacts on the east coast so whoever comes along should be safe with me from harrasment and the like. I am a writer and have a place in San Fran. Once in San Fran I can promise my partners a place to stay for a while, good people, good eats, and a lucrative buisness opertunity  I am looking for one or two people to come with me. I am friendly, inteligent, street smart, and charming when i need to be. Please write me because i would like to meet anyone who would like to take this journey with me. I also have my computer and an ipod for entertainment or to sell or trade if needed. I would like to travel with one man and one women who are not a couple (I am wiccan and belive in the power of three). This trip should be a blast. If you are loyal and watch my back along the way the west coast will treat you well as i know many people in Cali. So thats that. hope to hear from you soon, good times lie ahead.

ha, that's funny, i'm in boston right now and am plannign on leaving for SF that exact same time. only my plans are WAY different. i advise you to ride some trains, as it will probably be a lot faster than hitch hiking with 2 other people. and it's going to be SO COLD! are you crazy? fuck that! good luck. e-mail me when you get to SF, we can hang out and swap stories.

Serious inquiry.

Pith! Your post almost seems to good to be true! I'm currently in Connecticut and looking for a way out of New England around that time. I'm only 19 but I consider myself quite mature for my age. I am also very friendly and have a good amount of street smarts. I'll have some money left on me on November 1st but I'm more than satisfied dumpster diving for food. Please take this is as a serious inquiry for one of your sidekicks.

Hope to you hear back from you,
Tim

18 y/o from rva

Postby puck » October 23rd, 2005, 8:05 pm

hey pith,

i'm an 18 y/o f from richmond virginia, looking at going in whatever direction convenience blows me. my itenirary is set to leave virginia tomorrow (10/24) and make my way to boston via chinatown bus. i'm stopping along the way to see friends in philadelphia and new york, but i could make sure to be in boston by your departure date if you are interested.

about me: i don't have a career, persay. i'm trying to find my niche in the world with that regard, but i enjoy writing, film production, music, theater and other creative arts. i'm not extensively involved in any of the aforementioned because politics and activism have been my passion lately. don't worry about me being a pretentious radical who believes my veganism will change the world, by the way. anyway.. but yeah. i'm queer friendly/ going on hiatus from a non profit job i have in the queer community in richmond, and open-minded overall. i, too, am friendly, sociable, and charming (or so i'd like to believe). basically i'm up for anything and we should give it a shot because it sounds so much better than traveling solo.

Sounds sweet. I'm a musician that has taken some martial arts. I would love to go with you but unfortunately I'm currently pursuing my Bachelors in Bible Study. A small inconvenience. I guess all my hitching will be done in the summer. Good luck and I'm curious on how it goes.

Postby RAWAR » November 1st, 2005, 3:51 pm

Hey Pith, if you haven't left yet, hit me up. I really don't know your agenda, but if your gonna head south for a bit first, I could hook up with you vicinity Virginia or Carolina...
I'm gettin' ants-in-the-pants. Gotta make some motion soon. Peace.

Damn I usually go out of my way to be immature for my age.

Why would you want to grow up?

oh well to each his own.

Haha. Well I can choose to be immature too when I want to. But a real immature person does it naturally and has to force themselves to be mature, eh???

I agree. But in the eyes of the general public a 25 year old is more mature than a 15 year old. Which isn't always true because I've met some very mature 15 year olds and some very immature 25 year olds!
