The big one

Fed up with the city life again. Will be leaving July 9th. I'm going up to Wisconsin to see an old friend then up to Alaska. Will come back south and meander my way through most of the mountainous roads on the west coast in August and rediscover the southwest and my favorite place of all--Colorado, in September. I may then hit up some beaches in October, most likely Texas, but Florida is a possibility. Then I plan to spend the fall and winter around New York, Maine, and eastern Canada. I may or may not take some footage on my trip, depending on how big of a burden it feels like.
If anyone is going to be in these areas around my time frames, maybe we can meet up. Of course, all my plans are subject to change on a whim.
Stay safe and most of all happy trails everyone.

Leaving Sunday morning. My summer/fall pack is suitable for temperatures down to 15 F and weighs just 21 pounds, which I'm feeling great about. When I swap packs for my hard core winter gear it will be closer to 30 pounds. All my cares have been thrown out the window and I couldn't possibly be feeling any better. Happy trails everyone!

I made it through Missouri and Iowa in one day with 8 rides. Never realised how amazingly good the hitching was in Iowa! Pro tip: Don't hitchhike to Wisconsin unless you enjoy 4-6 hour waits between rides. I won't be coming back through this state if I can help it. Minnesota here I come.

No man I'm way down in California now haha. I said fairbanks, I meant Anchorage. I got a ride from near Anchorage and he was going all the way to Phoenix, Arizona. I had him drop me off in Bakersfield, CA and now I'm near Lake Tahoe. I probably won't be going back to Alaska any time this year.

Edit: Map of where I've gone since July 8th-
