Well I know that, I was just saying. I like quite a bit of anime, I was just saying.
Here's a rough sketch of the main character, it's a pretty good idea on the style I'm looking for.

I enjoy writing. Have had the good fortune to work with some really brilliant young writers and others who weren't quite brilliant but who poured their souls into everything they wrote.

As far as what Finch said about paying a fee to get published, that is 100% all con in my opinion. It's a great scam but all you're paying for is for some guy's mansion on top of a mountain somewhere who more than likely laughs all the way to the bank every day. Writing is difficult enough without having some jackass preying on people who are desperate to get published.

Well, I think that about 95% is scam. Some of it is straight and not just a con trick. I mean, right now I'm entering a contest which pays out $1500 and a publishes your work if you win but it is for a literary journal. I don't know.

What would be your best advice on getting published Lightfoot? I mean, poetry is pretty hard to just get published if you don't have connections.

There's a Poetry Digest that comes out every year like the Writer's Digest does. That might be the best $29 you ever spent.

No you should never pay to get published. That is absurd man.

Can you submit things to the Poetry Digest then?

Do you already have a publisher lined up for 'Flying By My Nuts'?

Poetry Digest has 1,000s of markets listed, addresses, and what each publication looks for.

Nope, haven't run around with that manuscript yet although people occasionally encourage me to. My friend Laurel in particular.

Ah cool. I will have to check into that.
Thanks again Lightfoot... when the hell are you not full of information? Haha.
Yeah, I'm working on a book right now, my goal is to have it completed by the end of the year.
