The first man to ever give me a ride was an older white-haired and bearded gentleman.
Upon realising I would never get out of Malmö at the road I was standing at (Northern road while I actually wanted to go South), he turned around his car (he was actually heading North ) and parked it at the gas station behind me, came up to me and offered to take me to the right road to the Southern end of Malmö.
When we got there he turned to face me and said: "There is a saying in Sweden. It might be common in other countries too, but we have a saying here which says that if you receive help, you should help someone else. So for the help I gave you today, I want you to help another."
