What to see in Madrid

Postby bookespana » February 14th, 2012, 7:31 am

Hi there. I am a newbie here and would just want to share my thought on what to see in Madrid

Madrid ie in Madrids truly a wonderful place to visit. As most of us know, it is the capital city in Spain and it is the top most tourist spot in the country. You can see there the effervescent spirit of the city that can be found in its street and people. You can also experience there a la carte activities such as bull fighting, the flamenco experience, the wineries and the Real Madrid Cafe.

There are still a lot of beautiful things to see in Madrid.

I wouldn't personally recommend Madrid as one of the top 10 places to see in Spain .. but that's off topic.

I was going to say; that to see Flamenco - go to Andalucía!!

Oh and you forgot one good thing that Madrid does have .. well two actually.
El Cocido Madrileño - Tasty tasty dish
And
El Prado Museum (free on sundays from 10 till 14)
