Never "go out"? As in OUTSIDE?! :P

The once a day thing I can deal with, as i'm not a big smoker at all. The only reason i'm taking my pipe is having something to relax with at the end of my travelling days. Lighter and cheaper than hauling around whiskey too! (i'll only keep a small bottle of that ;D)

I think what he meant was that the cherry in the bowl should never go out?
I'll stick to whiskey for now.

Lol, yea now that I think about it, i'm not sure why I thought that! I just figured it was kinda, y'know, obvious that the cherry shouldn't go out :P

I'm taking this fancy pipe I got off ebay with me. It's made of briar wood, with an antler stem, made in Austria. Coupled with my incoming beard and my leather hillbilly hat, i'm going to look weird strolling through Europe :D

I wouldn't recommend puffing on the pipe while you're busking/spanging ... etc
Even though the 'Europeans' are pretty open ... the pipe culture still is not a common thing that is seen, specially in the hands of young people. And it will reduce you're possible income by quite a bit. Same as rolling tobacco ...
