Two months and one day, we took our time thumbing through canada. From Winnipeg with zig zagged down into North Dakota, Minnesota, back up through Ontario and then from Niagara to New York State, to the city without a dollar in our pockets... and back up to Ottawa. (Niagara border crossing is concerningly easy to cross.....) Tried to cut through Maine but were denied access at the border (boooooo, had lots of fun with the border patrol though,) so we had to go the long way around, but Quebec city is a must. Glad we went there. Now here we are in St.Johns Newfoundland, trying to find work and a place to stay. Got no money but still no worries. Its getting cold out here man.
Anybody know anything about the cargo ships going to Europe? Its been done before it can be done again!
We were bumming around the docks in Halifax but manna security is tight.
The plan is to bide our time here till we can find a ride whatever it may be to further our travels east!
Cheers.
Kate
