1. Pour about 100 gallons Tide into swimming pool

2. Jump in

3. Agitate around for 15 minutes

4. Add 5 gallons fabric softener

5. Spin around

6. Exit pool

7. Hang yourself on clothesline

(last step is optional)

where they know they will find me,
with my maps and my faith in the distance,

Damn and I thought a container of Joy in a guy's hot-tub was mean.

and

alternatively, a river or a lake will work fine as well - jump into the water with clothes on and rub clay/mud all over working the mush deep in the fabric.
rinse by patting clothes and swimming - the soil will neutralize any smell (dark clothing only) - hhsrarnold

I'm just not seeing the logic of grinding clay deep into the fibers of my clothes in order to get them clean.

In abbie hoffmans book on the rod it talks about agitating and rinsing your clothes in a ziplock bag just like a washing machine does then drying them in the sun they might be more stiff but you might be able to combine two methods

Sorry but on this site you should be aware that Kerouac wrote "On the Road"
Abbie Hoffman wrote "Steal this book"

On the rod? Maybe Albert Hoffman the chemist or Ron Jeremy the Actor?

Washing Up!!!

Postby Thenoob » July 22nd, 2009, 10:51 pm

My least favorite is definetly Restrooms. But there everywhere to. Use some of there hand soap the foam sopa works to if thats all they have. plug the drain. our cover it with paper towel if theres no plug. Fill the sink up with wrm water. Put the sopa in the water. Mix it up till theres bubbles on top plop your clothes in. let soak a few minutes if possible. Then scrub the clothes with your hands and the soapy water. Then drain the water and rinse clothes. They also make great for washing your hair. But you need a bigger space to clean the body. Unless you wantto make a big mess. And that wil most likely get you kicked out. Do it fat as possible if its a multi person bathroom. If its a one personroom your in luck. he best is family bathrooms. Becuase they have the diaper change things and you can hang your clothes on that when they are wet. And if no one wants to get in the bathroom you can use there air dryer as a dryer. Rember people dont like seeing this going on in the bathroom they are using thy like to tend to alert mangment. And if possible try find a luandromat. If you dont got and money spange outsid the luandromat. Tell em you need money to wash your clothes thought they tend to pity you . And give you change. i know you dont like people pitying you but rember hitchiking is funer cheaper lol make sense im all typed out!!

One thing that is a waste of time. Buy a box of flower smelling dryer sheets before bed, stuff them in your sleeping bad, pockets, socks, shirt, hat, everywhere! When you wake up, you'll smell like flowery piss. At the time it seemed like a good idea.

I'll heat up some soapy water on my pot and cook my socks/undies. I also have a pocket shower I plan to fill with water, soap, clothes, and shake to death. Hopefully that will work.

There's always fabreeze at the Dollar Tree in pinch.
